How To Use Wawa gift cards?

In-Store Purchases (Food, Drinks, Merchandise)

1. Shop & Checkout: Select your items, hoagie, or coffee and proceed to the register.

2. Present Card: Hand the physical gift card or the digital gift card barcode/number to the cashier.

3. Apply Balance: The cashier will scan or swipe the card to deduct the purchase amount from the balance.

4. Finalize: Any remaining balance stays on the card.

2. At the Gas Pump (Fuel)

You can use the gift card directly at the pump just like a debit or credit card:

1. Insert Card: Insert the Wawa Gift Card into the credit/debit card slot on the fuel pump.

2. Follow Prompts: Follow the on-screen instructions (e.g., lift the nozzle, select fuel grade).

3. Pump Gas: The pump will authorize the transaction (it may hold an amount, like $75 or $100, which will adjust down to the actual fuel cost once you hang up the nozzle).

Tip: If the amount of fuel you want exceeds the balance on the card, the pump might not accept the card. If this happens, you may need to go inside the store to pay for the fuel with the gift card first and then pay any remaining amount with cash/another card.

Redemption via the Wawa App (Digital Payments & Rewards):

You can load your physical or e-gift card onto the Wawa App for convenient mobile payment and to earn rewards.

1. Download & Sign Up: Download the Wawa App and create a Wawa Rewards account.

2. Add Card: In the app, go to the “My Cards” or “Payment” section.

3. Enter Details: Select “Add Gift Card” and input the Gift Card Number and PIN (found on the back or in the e-gift card email).

4. Use for Payment: Once loaded, you can use the app to:

   • Scan to Pay: Generate a QR code in the app to scan at the register.

   • Mobile Ordering: Use the stored balance to pay for mobile food orders placed through the app for faster pickup.

Key Facts:

• No Expiration: Wawa Gift Cards do not expire and do not have inactivity fees.

   

• Reloadable: You can add more money to the card at any Wawa register or through the Wawa App.
