How To Use $500 Kroger Gift Cards?

Your Kroger Gift Card is valid at over 2,800 stores across 35 states, including all stores under the following banners:

• Kroger

• Baker’s

• City Market

• Fry’s Food and Drug

Accepted Transactions:

1. In-Store Purchases: Use it for groceries, pharmacy items, general merchandise, and alcohol (where permitted by law).

2. Online Orders: You can use the card for Kroger Pickup and Kroger Delivery services. (Note: They cannot be used for Kroger Ship orders.)

3. Fuel: You can use the Kroger Gift Card to pay for fuel at Kroger Family of Companies Fuel Centers. You must prepay at the fuel kiosk or counter—you cannot use eGift cards directly at the pump reader.

How to Redeem Your $500

1. In-Store (Quickest Method)

1. Shop as Normal: Add all your items to your cart.

2. Checkout: Present the physical gift card or the barcode (if it’s an eGift card) to the cashier or at the self-checkout terminal.

3. Split Payment:

   • If your purchase is less than $500, the remaining balance stays on the card for your next shop.

   • If your purchase is more than $500, the full $500 will be deducted, and you will pay the remaining balance using cash or a credit/debit card.

2. Online (Kroger Pickup or Delivery)

1. Place Order: Go through the ordering process on Kroger.com or the app for Pickup or Delivery.

2. Payment Screen: During the checkout process, there will be an option to add a gift card or gift certificate number.

3. Enter Details: Input the card number and the PIN (usually under a scratch-off area). The balance will be applied to your order.

High-Value Tip: Maximizing Savings

If you have a Kroger Shopper’s Card (loyalty card), always make sure to use it along with your Gift Card!

• Fuel Points: You earn Fuel Points on almost every purchase made with your Shopper’s Card, including when you spend the value on your gift card. These points can save you money on gas at the pump.

• Digital Coupons: Make sure your Shopper’s Card is linked to the Kroger app to clip digital coupons before you shop.

What You Cannot Buy:

There are a few restrictions on what the card can be used for:

• Other Gift Cards: You generally cannot use a Kroger Gift Card to purchase other retailer gift cards (like Amazon, Visa, or Target gift cards) or stored-value prepaid cards.

• Financial Services: Lottery tickets, money orders, or other services provided through the Kroger Money Services desk.

• Kroger Ship: The card is not valid for orders placed through the Kroger Ship program (non-perishable items shipped directly to your home).
