The $75 is instantly added to your Apple Account Balance, which you can see displayed under your name on the App Store profile page.1
Step 2: Use the $75 Balance to Shop
Once the money is in your balance, it will automatically be the first payment method used for almost everything Apple offers.
What You Can Buy:
| Category | Examples |
| Digital Content | Apps, games, in-app purchases, movies, music, and books from the App Store, iTunes Store, Apple TV app, and Apple Books. |
| Subscriptions | Apple Music, Apple Arcade, Apple TV+, iCloud+ storage, and any subscriptions billed through the App Store (like Netflix or Spotify). |
| Physical Products | Accessories (AirPods, cases, chargers), products (iPhone, iPad, Mac), and other items from the Apple Store app or apple.com. |
How Payment Works:
For Digital Content/Subscriptions: The purchase is deducted directly from your $75 balance.
For Physical Products (Online or In-Store): When you buy an accessory or product at an Apple Store or on Apple.com, the $75 balance is automatically applied as a credit. You then pay any remaining cost with another payment method (credit card, etc.).
