How To Use $100 Airbnb Gift Cards?

1. Redeem the $100 Gift Card (Add to Account)

Before you can use the card for a booking, you must add the $100 value to your Airbnb account as a credit.

What You Need

• 10-Digit Gift Card PIN: This is the alphanumeric code found on the back of a physical card (usually under a scratch-off) or in the email for a digital card.

Redemption Steps (App or Website)

1. Log In: Go to the Airbnb website or app and log into your account.

2. Go to Redemption Page:

   • Quick Link: Go directly to airbnb.com/gift in your browser.

   • Via App/Settings: Tap Profile $\rightarrow$ Payments & payouts $\rightarrow$ Credits & coupons $\rightarrow$ Redeem gift card.

3. Enter PIN: Enter the 10-digit Gift Card PIN/Code.

4. Redeem: Click “Redeem gift card” or “Apply to your balance.”

The full $100 value will now be saved as Airbnb Gift Card Balance in your account. You can check your total balance in the “Payment Methods” section of your account.

2. Use the Balance for a Booking

Once the credit is on your account, it will automatically be used when you book a stay or an Experience.

1. Find Your Stay/Experience: Search and select the home or Experience you wish to book.

2. Proceed to Checkout: Go to the final payment page for the reservation.

3. Apply Credit: On the payment screen, the system will automatically select and apply your $100 Gift Card Balance to reduce the total cost. You don’t usually need to manually enter the code again.

4. Final Payment:

   • If the total is less than $100: The entire booking is covered, and the remaining credit stays on your account for future use.

   • If the total is more than $100: You will pay the remaining amount using a secondary payment method (credit card, PayPal, etc.).

Important Limitations:

• Region: Gift cards purchased in the U.S. generally can only be redeemed by users residing in the U.S. Check the card’s terms for regional restrictions.

• Experiences: In most countries, the balance can be used for both stays and Airbnb Experiences.

• Non-Transferable: Once the $100 is redeemed and linked to your account, it cannot be transferred to another person or account.
